The Savannah State University College of Engineering Technology and Computing Outreach & Career Development Office (CETC O&CD) provides programs, services, and opportunities that prepare students and graduates for success in STEM careers. The Office promotes career readiness, experiential learning, professional development, and scholarly engagement among CETC students. It also provides K–12 students with early exposure to STEM education, careers, competitions, and college pathways.

Through direct student support, CETC O&CD contributes to student persistence, institutional capacity building, workforce development, and the visibility of Savannah State University’s STEM programs. The Office works to strengthen the pipeline into CETC academic programs while increasing awareness of the shared role that the University, industry, schools, families, and the broader community play in advancing STEM participation and achievement.

CETC O&CD develops and sustains partnerships with employers, industry professionals, K–12 educators, parents, students, alumni, and community organizations. These partnerships expand access to STEM-related competitions, career opportunities, experiential learning, and scholarly activities—particularly for students from populations historically underrepresented in STEM.
