Savannah State University is now accepting nominations for the 2024 Savannah State University Founders Day awards. Nominations can be submitted for the Richard R. Wright Award of Excellence and the Cyrus G. Wiley Distinguished Alumni Award.
Savannah State University is now accepting nominations for the 2024 Savannah State University Founders Day awards. Nominations can be submitted for the Richard R. Wright Award of Excellence and the Cyrus G. Wiley Distinguished Alumni Award.
The honorees will be recognized during Savannah State University’s Founders Day on Thursday, Nov. 14, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. in the Student Union Ballroom. The event celebrates the history of the institution and those who have contributed to its success. The ceremony includes a guest speaker.
Award criteria and the online nomination form can be found here. Attachments that are either too large or numerous to attach to the nomination form may be emailed to [email protected] or delivered to the Division of University Advancement located at Hill Hall on the Savannah State University campus, 3219 College Street, Savannah, Ga 31404. The deadline to submit nominations is Friday, Nov. 1, 2024.
