Savannah State University will hold its 208th Commencement Ceremony and Army/Navy ROTC Commissioning Ceremonies on May 8, 2026. The Commencement Ceremony will be held at 1 p.m.in the Enmarket Arena, 620 Stiles Avenue, Savannah, 31415. Parking at the arena is free.
More than 400 students have applied to receive their master’s, bachelor’s, or associate degrees. Dr. Deretta Cole Rhodes, Executive, Vice President & Chief Culture Officer for the Atlanta Braves, will deliver the keynote address
The Army ROTC Commissioning Ceremony will be held on May 7 at 10 a.m. in the King Frazier Student Center Ballroom on the SSU campus, 3219 College Street, Savannah
The Navy ROTC Commissioning Ceremony will be held on May 8 at 5 p.m. in the Howard Jordan Torian Auditorium on the SSU campus.
