The Center for Student Success and Retention provides comprehensive academic support classes, services and resources specifically designed to enhance student academic achievement and success. Resources provided include advisement, testing, and tutoring services. The Center for Student Success and Retention assists students with developing a roadmap for success as they pursue their personal and academic goals at Savannah State University.
In addition, the Center for Student Success and Retention addresses college readiness through its involvement in the oversight of Savannah State University’s partnership with the Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools’ Early College program and the traditional Dual Enrollment Program for high school students taking college classes.

Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Extended hours are available at peak advising and registration times.
