Biology teacher teaching biology to diverse group of high school studentsThe Department of Teacher Education at Savannah State offers a variety of degrees designed to prepare students for teaching careers. These include the Bachelor of Science in Education (BSED) for middle grades, secondary education, and engineering technology, as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Music Education. Additionally, the Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies (BIDS) program allows students to explore broad subject areas with flexible concentrations in interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary, or educational studies.
