Office of the Provost & Vice President

The Office of the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing the overall academic vision and goals for Savannah State University by providing resources and coordinating the special contributions of diverse organizational units and personnel from a student centered approach.
Academic Affairs carries out the missions and purpose through four colleges and other support offices: the College of Business Administration, the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, the College of Sciences and Technology and the College of Education; the University Library, the Office of Enrollment Management (Admissions and Registrar); the Office of Graduate Studies; the Office of Sponsored Research,; the Center for Student Success and Retention and the campus radio station.
The goal is to provide a quality educational experience that develops life skills and prepares students for competition in the local, state, regional and international marketplaces. Academic Affairs operates from a student-centered approach with high expectations and accountability on the part of faculty, staff, administrators and students.
