Enrollment Through the Years.
Savannah State University monitors student enrollment to reflect the growth of its academic community. The tables below provide fall enrollment data on our student population.

Total Fall Undergraduate Enrollment
Enrollment has declined from a peak of over 4,600 in 2014 to around 2,838 in 2024, showing a slight recovery from its lowest point in 2022.

Enrollment Full-Time and Part-Time
As of Fall 2024, total enrollment stands at approximately 3,208 students, with full-time students making up the majority, though part-time enrollment remains consistent in proportion.

Fall Enrollment by Gender
In 2024, female enrollment is noticeably higher than male enrollment, with men making up a larger share of the student body compared to previous years.
