Jimit Vyas is a sophmore majoring in Biology. After graduating, he aims to get accepted into to medical school to become a health care assistant or medical assistant.
Kerringten Daniel is a senior majoring in Biology. After graduating Kerringten will enroll in a nuclear medicine program to become a travel nuclear medicine technologist.
Evan Reid is a sophomore majoring in Forensic Science with a concentration in Biology. She is interested in criminology and continuing her education to pursue a career as a medical examiner.
Previous VITAL Lab Students
Hope Contreras is a freshman majoring in Forensic Science. Her long-term goal is to pursue a career in bioscience laboratories and crime scene investigation. Miss Contreras has hands-on training using VR technologies and thinks it’s very important for others to be trained to use VR for educational STEM programs.
Corey Leatherwood is a Senior, majoring in Forensic Science with a focus on Biology. His long-term goal is to be accepted into a medical school with the intent of becoming a Medical Examiner. In the short term he is planning on becoming an EMT while he prepares for upcoming challenges.
Kourtney Mcquerry is a senior majoring in Chemistry. After graduation, she plans on going to pharmacy school and obtaining a PharmD to become a pharmacist. She is very interested in VR and thinks it is a great learning opportunity for students.
Ariana Jones a senior forensic science major with a concentration in biology. Her future plans include working in a crime lab and potentially attending graduate school for forensic science or biology. Miss Jones's experience with VR includes the crime scene simulation, healthcare VR, and Namome. She also has experience with 3D printing.
Cornelius McCord graduated from Savannah State University in Fall 2021 with a B.S. degree in chemistry. He is willing to further study science and plans on becoming a nuclear chemist.
Chantell A. Coley graduated from Savannah State University in Fall 2021 with a B.S. degree in chemistry. She plans to obtain her master’s degree in biomedical sciences and later obtain her PharmD to become a Pharmacist. Her experience with participating in the Ocean VR application was amazing! She believes that everyone should try VR at least once just for the great experience.
Emmanuella Martin is a senior, majoring in Forensic Science with a concentration in Biology. She is a member of the Honors Program, the Forensic Science Club, and the STEM Volunteer Club. Her aspiration is to become a forensic pathologist assistant.
