About Physical Plant

Physical Plant's responsibilities include the daily operations of building and mechanical maintenance and custodial services in support of academic and administrative buildings, resident halls and all campus events. We also maintain all campus utility systems, roads and grounds.

Daily Operations include

• Building Maintenance
• Mechanical Maintenance
• Custodial Services
• Work Order management, Data Entry and Warehouse

Facilities Planning

Facilities Planning is responsible for design, renovation, repair, construction, and administration of all campus projects by contract. Small construction designs are produced in house, but major construction projects are contracted to architectural and engineering firms. Other responsibilities include:

• Maintaining ad storing construction documents to include drawings and all contract documents and records of current projects
• Printing plans and maps
• Preparing documents and/or overseeing the process for contract bidding, awards ad construction
• Assist with inspections for contstruction
• Provide information associated with Physical Plant as needed
