In light of the global pandemic, Dr. Lin has put together a mathematical model that predicts pandemic behavior. Utilizing known science from previous global illnesses, the model is one that can be adapted for a number of public health scenarios. The University of Guyana has been instrumental in developing statistical analysis for the Ministry of Health and participating students will have the opportunity to work with experts from both countries.
