Preparing for Graduation

Congratulations! You made it!

Here are a few important reminders to stay on track and graduate.

• Submit your graduation application two (2) semesters prior to your anticipated graduation date. 

• Meet with your academic advisor before submitting your application through the PAWS portal. 

• Check your student email regularly for updates.

• If you are taking classes at another institution, you must have your official transcript sent to the Office of the Registrar (ssu-registrar@savannahstate.edu) to receive your diploma. 

• Visit the SSU Bookstore for your cap and gown, invitations, and other commencement items and memorabilia https://www.bkstr.com/savannahstatestore/home.

• Complete Financial Aid exit counseling at https://studentaid.gov/exit-counseling/.
