Albert Curry, Jr. '80
A native of Edgefield, South Carolina, Curry is currently the deputy assistant commandant for engineering and logistics with the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG). Curry earned a bachelor of science degree in electronic engineering technology from SSU and a master’s degree in systems engineering (electronic warfare) from the Naval Postgraduate School. In August 1980, Curry was commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Navy (USN) through SSU’s NROTC program.

Miller-Kaigler earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s degree in public administration from SSU. She is the deputy superintendent of the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System.
