Judges

Over the years, the key element in the success of the Savannah State University-Savannah Regional Science and Engineering Fair (SSU-RSEF) has been the quality, dedication and technical expertise of judges. Judges have generously given time to assure that all of the projects are fairly judged and the best category winners are selected to represent the science and engineering achievements of the youth in the region.

SSU's affiliation with the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) requires that projects are grouped into 20 categories, requiring judges with specific knowledge and expertise. An estimated 120 volunteers are needed to serve as category judges to maintain the excellence in the program. Additionally, 20 head category judges will be needed.
