Fulbright-Hays Group Project Abroad

SSU received a $100,000 grant award from the U.S. Department of Education as part of the Fulbright-Hays Group Projects Abroad program. Under the direction of Emmanuel Naniuzeyi, Ph.D., this is a continuation of a grant awarded to SSU in 2015.

A group of six SSU professors and six Savannah-Chatham County Public School System teachers traveled to Ghana in summer 2018 and spend four weeks in various cities to engage in training and research activities with the goal to enhance the social studies and foreign language curriculums at SSU and SCCPSS.
