Cyber Security Important Information

• Lock your computer when you leave your office. You can lock your computer by pressing the Windows Key and "L". To unlock your computer when you return, press CTL+ALT+DELETE and re-enter your password.
• Always 'Reboot' your computer before calling the SSU Helpdesk Students or SSU Helpdesk Faculty with a problem. Turn it completely off and back on. A machine running a Microsoft Windows Operating System must be rebooted regularly.
• Do not give your password to anyone.
• If you must write your password down, put it in a secure place. Do not write it on a sticky note and place it on your monitor.
