Field Trips
We welcome schools and community groups to come experience a field trip at our research facility where they can see our science labs, visit the dock on the marsh, and learn about marine science through hands-on activities.
When schools or similar organizations visit campus and our Marine Sciences building, the field trip will have this sample format:
- Tour of the facility
- Hands-on Science activity appropriate to the grade/age level
- A walk through the marsh
- Benthic animal exploration (time dependent)
Field trip events can last between 2-4 hours

Costs: $5 per student, 1 chaperone per 10 students
