Interdisciplinary Studies
The interdisciplinary studies degree program offers learning in a broad range of subject areas across the colleges and majors in the university. Once general education and core courses are complete, students in the major choose a general concentration track, a complementary field and a general elective area.
Students are able to chose one of the following tracks:
- Interdisciplinary Studies (General)
- Multidisciplinary Studies
- Educational Studies
Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies (BIDS) degree majors are among the most widely educated students. They use their degree to great advantage in both the workplace and professional or graduate school. Students in the major are encouraged to envision course paths that draw from a diverse and wide range of interests.
