COBA Career Services
Developing Future Business Leaders
The overall purpose of college is to help students find a career path that will lead to a successful, happy future. Students who use career services can plan student loan borrowing based on future income, explore career opportunities during and after college and learn how to become the best possible marketable employment candidates.
Drop in for assistance with a variety of career-related topics like developing a resume, cover letter, personal statements and general job search strategies. Mock interviews are also available. Stop by the Placement Office (Howard Jordan, 234), and we will be happy to assist you.
Internship Program
COBA students looking to gain academic credit for internship participation can do so through the Internship Program. The program is offered through the BUSA 4229 & CISM 4900 courses. In the past, national and international companies have partnered with the College of Business to develop the skills that ensure marketability in an ever-growing workforce.

Graduating Seniors
It is the COBA Placement Office’s policy to follow up with our recent graduates biannually in order to keep our records and statistical data up to date. This is also an opportunity to ensure that our graduates are employed in their desired career fields, and if not, to offer assistance for them to attain this goal.
Alumni
It is our goal to build meaningful and lasting partnerships with our alumni. The COBA alumni database serves as a tool for the Placement Office to reach out to our graduates for various networking and outreach activities. It also gives the College of Business the opportunity to celebrate the successes of our past students.
