Traci Adams '00

The commencement speaker will be Traci Adams '00. She graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in mass communications and a minor in theater from SSU. The Savannah native found her niche in promotion in the music recording industry.

Her positions within Island Def Jam (IDJ) Records dispatched her around the country. In 2007, IDJ made history as having the best single week urban chart in RR/BDS history by holding a total of 12 records on the chart simultaneously. Adams is now senior vice president of promotion at Epic Records.
