International Education

The mission of the International Education Center (IEC), in reflection of Savannah State University's mission, encompasses a global societal mission through student centered engagement and faculty/staff interaction. The center promotes internationalization of curriculum through enhanced study abroad programming, international student recruitment, international faculty/staff support, and community outreach.

The IEC focuses on student, faculty, and staff engagement to create an understanding of globalization and the international interaction necessary to fulfill the university's vision of developing productive members of a global society. The center strives to be a clearinghouse of information relative to international educational opportunities and programs for students, faculty and staff. It facilitates and supports faculty and student exchanges, study abroad programs and research collaborative with foreign institutions.

The IEC is located in Gardner Hall and is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Stop by or request an appointment through email - Ms. Joline Keevy, keevyj@savannahstate.edu; or Ms. Sharee Seal, seals@savannahstate.edu
