College of Education Advisory Committees

Teacher Education Council (TEC)

The primary purpose of the Teacher Education Council (TEC) is to maintain a collaborative relationship with other university departments. The council will serve in an internal advisory capacity to the College of Education (COE). The council will meet annually to participate in discussions on how to more effectively enhance COE. Members of the council will also serve in COE admission interview process. The goals of TEC include:

 Partners in Educator Preparation (PEP)

The overall purpose of PEP is for P12 Partners to serve in a sustaining collaborative partnering relationship focusing on effective procedures and processes in the College of Education (COE) comprehensive assessment, student growth and learning for preparation of candidates, and professional development for continuous improvement. PEP will meet annually to review program data and make recommendations for program improvement.
