This clinic is a structured training and evaluation event designed for high school athletes who are interested in pursuing volleyball at the collegiate level. This clinic offers a detailed look at the expectations, intensity, and skill level required to compete in a college program while providing direct interaction with college coaches.
Participants will be led through a comprehensive schedule that includes position-specific instruction, fundamental skill development, and advanced drills tailored to each athlete’s role (setter, hitter, libero/defensive specialist, etc.). Sessions will focus on technical execution, including passing accuracy, setting consistency, attacking efficiency, blocking technique, and defensive positioning. Athletes will also participate in competitive drills and controlled scrimmages that simulate a collegiate practice environment.
Throughout the clinic, coaches will evaluate athletes based on a variety of criteria, including skill proficiency, athletic ability, decision-making, communication, and overall court awareness. Verbal feedback will be provided during and after sessions to help athletes identify strengths and areas for improvement.
In addition to on-court training, the clinic includes informational components covering the college recruiting process. Topics may include NCAA eligibility requirements, timelines for recruitment, communication with college coaches, and the importance of academic performance. Athletes will also learn how to build a recruiting profile, create highlight videos, and present themselves effectively to college programs.
This clinic is open to motivated athletes who want a clearer understanding of the college volleyball pathway. It is especially beneficial for players seeking exposure, skill refinement, and guidance on navigating the recruiting process in a realistic and informative setting.
