July in Savannah, Georgia, is characterized by hot, humid, and often wet weather. Here’s what you can generally expect:

Temperatures

• Highs: Expect daily high temperatures to be in the low 90s Fahrenheit (around 33-34°C). It’s common for temperatures to exceed 90°F on at least half of the days in July, and on exceptionally hot days, it can reach near 100°F (38°C)
• Lows: Overnight lows are warm, typically in the mid-70s Fahrenheit (around 23-24°C).
• Average: The average daily temperature for July is around 82-83°F (28°C).

Humidity

• Oppressive Humidity: Savannah in July is notoriously humid. The relative humidity is often around 70-80%, leading to a “sultry” or “sticky” feeling. The dew point will also be high (around 70-73°F), making the air feel thick and heavy.

Rainfall

• Frequent Afternoon Thunderstorms: July is one of Savannah’s wetter months. You can expect significant rainfall, with an average of 5 to 6 inches over the month.
• Rainy Days: Rain occurs on an average of 12-18 days in July. These are often brief, intense afternoon or late afternoon thunderstorms rather than all-day drizzles.
• Hurricane Season: July falls within the Atlantic hurricane season (June-November). While direct hurricane hits are less frequent, tropical storms or their remnants can bring increased rainfall and stronger winds. It’s always advisable to monitor weather forecasts.

Using sunscreen, umbrellas, hats, sunglasses, and drinking plenty of water is highly recommended.

Items not permitted into the stadium include, but are not limited to:

· Firearms or weapons of any kind

· Fireworks of any kind

· Glass or plastic bottles, cans, coolers, containers, food, beverage of any kind

· Air horns, whistles, seat cushions with backs, artificial noise makers

· Mace

· Lighters

· Cigarettes

· Vaping devices

· Illegal drugs or chemicals

· Laser pens and pointers

· Inflated toys or balls of any kind

· purses larger than a clutch, backpacks – see bag policy

· Animals (service dogs are allowed)

· Unapproved pamphlets, handouts, advertising items

· Skateboards, roller blades/skates/shoes, hoverboards

· Any unapproved flags or banners of any shape or size

Parking can be bought in advance only – no parking can be purchased on site.

Parking QR code is required to enter campus.

Be sure to observe posted signage for any restrictions or time limits.

Visitor parking is available on campus. Regular sized vehicles are $20 per day and oversized vehicles are $30 per day. No RV’s permitted.
