It is our pleasure to invite you to view the website of DC and Beyond, a student organization at Savannah State University. DC & Beyond was founded Fall Semester 1999, and have been extremely successful since it's inception. DC & Beyond is moving into their 5th year on campus as a organization and have been designed to:

Establish a forum for Savannah State University students from the Washington D.C. and surrounding areas and those interested in this regional lifestyle and culture. The intent is to use this forum as a platform to express and identify issues and interests germane to these individuals and provide a pool of resources and insure academic and social stability. The members will serve as a tool for articulating the cultural beauty of the general Washington D.C. region and its affect on the nation. The members will also work to provide service and interaction within the Savannah community.

Congratulations to Mr. Villareal Johnson, Founder and President Emeritus of DC & Beyond Inc! On May 10, 2003, Villareal received his Bachelors of Arts degree with a emphasis in Sociology from Savannah State University. Villareal we know that it has been a long time coming and we are proud of you. Although you will be missed here on the Campus of SSU, we know that you are striving to meet new challenges in Washington, DC. Our campus will never be the same with out you but keep up the good work and may God be with you until we meet again.
