COBA Placement Center
The Placement Center acts as a liaison between employers, academic programs and students. The ultimate goal is to ensure that every graduating senior secures the best possible position for his/her chosen career path. While assisting with career planning, professional development and job placement, the Center provides COBA students with many opportunities for internships, cooperative education, part-time or full-time jobs, graduate education, and/or scholarship opportunities.
COBA students looking to gain academic credit for internship participation can do so through the Internship Program. The program is offered through the BUSA 4229 & CISM 4900 courses. In the past, national and international companies have partnered with the College of Business to develop the skills that ensure marketability in an ever-growing workforce.

It is the COBA Placement Office’s policy to follow up with our recent graduates biannually in order to keep our records and statistical data up to date. This is also an opportunity to ensure that our graduates are employed in their desired career fields, and if not, to offer assistance for them to attain this goal.

It is our goal to build meaningful and lasting partnerships with our Alumni. The COBA Alumni Database serves as a tool for the Placement Office to reach out to our graduates for various networking and outreach activities. It also gives the College of Business the opportunity to celebrate the successes of our past students.
