Study Abroad : Costa Rica

Programs and Opportunities

The Study Abroad Program to Costa Rica is led by Professor Tedrick and takes place during the summer semester for period of about (4) weeks. The Costa Rica Study Abroad Program is designed to give students the opportunity to spend time in Costa Rica studying the history and culture of Latin American. Students will take two 3 hour courses for a total of (6) credit hours. Tuition fees, room & board, field trips and round trip airfare from Savannah, GA are included in the estimated $3200.00 program cost. Insurance, Passport and visa fees, and required immunization fees are not included in the program cost.

Students will study at Academia Centroamericana de Espa ol (ACCE)/San Jose City

SPAN 1001--Elementary Spanish I

SPAN 1002--Elementary Spanish II

SPAN 2001--Elementary Spanish I

SPAN 2002--Intermediate Spanish II

SPAN 3101--STAB Adv. Conversation and Composition

Eligibility : Open to all University System of Georgia undergraduate and graduate students.

Cost: $3200

Includes tuition fees, room & board, field trips and round trip airfare from Savannah, GA.
